Virtues-28k

Our dog Oreo is a very attentive animal. If you don't mind that he has to give a dog kiss to you every time you get around him, he is a very pleasant pet. Oreo is always glad to see you. He always gets up to greet a person, doesn't bark at people, although does seem to bark to them at times. He has doggy virtues.
As a rule, humanity shares its ideas of virtues even across cultural boundaries, with few exceptions. For instance, it is virtuous everywhere to show loyalty and kindness. Christians should display special virtues. Paul highlights some in the Colossian church people that are worth of pursuing.
Paul's list of virtues is capsulized in a three words. Paul said, "We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your FAITH... .LOVE... HOPE" (verses 3-5).
Faith is where we start our relationship with God. Without faith, it is impossible to please him (Hebrews 11:6). Love was commanded by the Lord so the world would know we are His disciples (John 13:35). And hope reminds us what is "laid up for (us) in heaven" (Colossians 1:5)!
Are your virtues showing today? Do you so live that others see Christ in you? You can, with the Lord's help.
